Do we have a resident expert on retro digital watches.

I'm interested i knowing whether the glass/plastic can be polished with a glass fibre pen and then polywatch to take out minor scratches, without disturburbing any of the text on the glass (is the test imprinted on the inside of the glass/plastic)

I know there is a bit of a cult following for retro digitals and have found a doer upper to work on whilst i'm struggling to find mechanical watches to work on.

I shall post some before and after pics of the project once ive finished it.

cheers,

Stretch

thanks watchweasol, that also saves my buying some polywatch, as i have some Autosol.

Probably hard to tell if it's on the outside or inside without taking a bit of a gamble i guess

Even if the printing is on the outside, you could mask off the area with the text on it, and carefully polish the rest.

Do you have a picture of the watch?

Hi  Thats the stuff I use and it works very well.

I use T-Cut car polish, which is pretty similar.
