Wax On Dial ?

I have a nice looking Favre-leuba dial . There are some small scratches on the dial . Not all the way through to the metal . But just so much that you could see the matt  scratch . Anyone tried to put carwax on to make it look better . Or is it better to avoid ?

I wouldn't recommend it. Many car waxes have cleaners, abrasives, and/or solvents which might react to the printing on dial. In addition, most waxes contain water. Just my opinion, of course.
