Hello,

My ultimate goal is to repair my father's watch (Camy diver/world time from the early seventies, ETA 2789 automatic movement).

In order to get there I'm still learning, doing the watchfix online course and watching a lot of youtube watch repair videos.

I have a couple of watches to practice first (pocket and wrist watches).

My first obstacle is finding stores that sell tools and consumables in my country, Portugal. I will search in this forum for online stores.

Sorry for my english, it's a little rusty. I'm thinking in portuguese and translating to english, which can lead to some weird gramatical stuff 🙂

I will be updating my progress in this adventure.

Welcome to WRT.

The good news is that there are quite a few retailers that sell over the internet and who will likely deliver. Be careful, it can get expensive!

I've been trying (in my spare time) to get proficient at this for 7 months and while I know the theory now and have watched many videos and taken Mark's online classes, I'm still not doing all that well.

Patience is your friend!
