Hello WRT. I'm Chris I started to get obsessed with watches during covid and after finding "talking watches" on youtube. The John Mayer 2 talking watches was especially inspiring. I also started watching a ton of those watch repair videos on youtube. I made my first watch purchase of a tudor Prince Oysterdate with a ETA 2772 movement. I actually serviced it myself which made me like the watch even more.

Welcome to the forum! Thanks for the introduction. It does help to know a bit of background when answering questions.

That's a pretty steep entry to a new hobby. Most of us splash around in the shallow end for months or even years before we even think about servicing anything of that value. I admire your attitude, so good luck with it. You have come to the right place to get help, that is for sure.
