Hi from Keylessworks,

I recently acquired a Timex watch with a code that surprised me  i I know that this is a 21 Series watch with a Model 75 21 jewel movement with date window. I though that it was a 1970 model but the letter A to the right of 70 made me wonder.  I spent time searching the 8nternet for answers but came up empty.

here is the dial code

6544 7570A

i have seen other Timex watches with an A following the dial code in pictures but no explanation of what it means

are there any other less common code n7mbers out there .

Thanks

You will alos find this coding of A or B on 1969 - 1970 Marlins.   A is first half of year  B is second half.   I don't know why Timex did this but it was a short lived change to the dial coding.
