I needed to remove the hands from Carrera CV2011 and the pipe pulled away from the rivit joint. I both broke it and while handling with intentions to pull out the staking set, I lost it.

Can I find a tiny diameter hollow 'steel pipe', to make it fit? I do not have a lathe....

Find a donor sweep second hand and use it's pipe? I like having spares in the next similar situation. What would You do?

I found these collect things with very small pipes which could be pivot or jewel gauges or a piece of a pivot burnishing set up. I am tempted to take a suitable diameter core out and use it on my broken seconds hand.

Just saying I may look for anything in my tools boxes to get a small enough 'pipe'. Any suggestions?
