Hello All!

I'm new to WRT and I just came into a collection of watches that included a Pierce Parashock cal. 103 SC.

After some research and help from another forum, I found out that I'm missing the center sweep second hand, second hand pinion, tensioning spring, and the wheel to acuate the pinion.

If anyone has an km knowledge of where to obtain these parts I would be forever grateful.

Thank you all,

Mike

Good morning and welcome to the forum Mike. I think your best bet would be a donor movement for parts or replacement, if you can find one. Is the extended pinion on the third wheel intact, or has it been broken off? I ask because it is not the first time someone has broken these and then removed the other components to allow the watch to still be used without the centre second hand.

I'm sure if someone here has what you require, I'm sure they will get in touch with you.

Best of luck! :)

Hello Geo!

Thank you for responding. After doing some internet research I can find all parts needed except the actual aweep second hand. A donor may be my only option. The donor will probably be the less expensive way to go as well. Thanks again!

I have a similar, non lume same movement, on the back burner awaiting suitable hands. The second hand was broken & I managed to break the hour hand when removing. This one required a new balance from Cousins.

Rafal: Thank you! I've looked on Cousins site. I can get to the point up to where I need the sweep second hand but then I'm stuck like Blacklab.

Blacklab: That's a very nice Pierce!

I just got of ebay Pierce chrono model 134 (2 buttons) and it has same issue... no seconds hand, I did some research on Cousins and they have something similar to original hands, suisse made and Im thinking about this as a temp solution :).
