Would be normal to be expected to modify the end of the mainspring or should I expect the end to be correct from the factory?

I bought this for a Cyma 571 on ebay and the seller claimed it was correct (after he sent me the wrong one and I had to send it back).

Maybe it is typcial for these old watches to do the bend at the end myself.  It certainly looks like the one I took out was a "shop" bend.

Thoughts???

Update:  That mainspring that came out is wrong!!  The barrel is designed for a hole-end mainspring!!

I don't know the answer to your question, but I'd like to share that I've seen the exact same thing: a "shop-bent" mainspring in a barrel designed for a "hole-end" mainspring. Can't be that uncommon then!
