Hi Black- and Locksmiths, Clock- and Watchmakers,

I cannot find anything about this movement: record 1440. Does it exist or is it a dream? 🙂

Best regards,

Lui

Also check Longines and perhaps Wittnauer calibers. Record was acquired by Longines in 1961, but prior to that there appears to have been some collaboration over the years. What size is it

Thank you both. Based on the pics I found I would say it is a Lagaros, not sure as the pics did not show the caliber nr.

Lagaros, a brand name registered by Record in 1924.

Update: The brand name Lagaros was first registered in 1915 by Z Perrenoud & Co and then again in 1924 when Record took the company over.

No need for parts, works perfectly. Oil cups were full with oil though. Originally wanted to sell so I was looking for a price tag but now I am not so sure. Maybe a pocket on wrist would be nice like the 1460 for Zeno.

I am travelling at the moment so cannot check /measure anything but it's a pocket watch size.
