Stuck case pin

Sorry I might have the wrong terminology.  I've managed to get this running but the pin that holds it into the case is snapped and I can't get it out. Pretty sure it's bent both ends

Hi. It’s the case hinge pin, two possible ways to remove it, 1 clean up the ends and drift it out with a punch or drill it out, I think first shot is the drift but be gentle the brass/gold pin will be soft.

Hi Richard. Just an aside,  might try warming it up with the soldering iron first just in case there is any corrosion within the hinge.

I had to drill it, got about a quarter of the way through and the rest popped out.

Hi Richard a stubborn one, glad it drilled out ok. Was it a gold or brass pin.

Brass, slightly softer than the case luckily. I didn't know gold was used.
