New member here, happy to join. I'm pretty active on a vintage bike forum as well. My background doesn't involve any engineering or handiwork, but I admire simple machines and love to tinker to get my mind off the stresses of everyday life. I've been working on vintage bikes for years, but I am new to the notion of watch building and repair, so I'm eager to learn more. For now, I am getting my feet wet with mechanical Timex, HMT, and Seiko, and just collecting cheap examples so far, not yet delving into any repair or restoration.
