I could not find a tech sheet. Does anyone know what the top gear is called?  I think that i need a new one.

Something looks very odd. That wheel looks out of place and the wheel below it looks broken too.

By top I meant at the top of the photo.  The gold colored one under the copper colored one.  Apologies for not being clear.

You are far more advanced than me, trying to answer helps me learn.  Nothing seems in contact with the escape wheel.

There are other gears above these that were removed for photos. Watch runs well until it hits the missing tooth.

Looks like it's a transmission gear part 203. Can someone tell me if that's right or wrong.
