Hello, my name is Joseph, I'm from the state of New York. I'm a highschooler and I have recently begun to collect watches. I've always taken joy from visiting thrift shops, and I begun purchasing for myself vintage watches. Of course with collecting naturally follows repair. My hope is to begin to repair some of my family heirloom watches (which I have 5! All built in the Soviet Union.) Though before I touch any of those, I want to begin to work on the less valuable watches I've collected. I've come to this forum with the goal to learn more about watch repair through all the practical knowledge available here. All these conversations and threads can often be far more effective a teacher than books or videos. I hope to get to know all of you, and learn a great deal.

-Joseph.
