What does this mysterious mark mean?!

Hi All,

I know this isn't necessarily on topic, but I wondered if anyone might be able to offer any insight as to the identification of this mark on the side of a watch case. I've looked all over but can't seem to track it down and its really bothering me! 

The case looks silver coloured in the second pic but it's a trick of the light, the correct colour is shown in the first image.

The company made metal parts, so probably the case.  Do you know what the movement is?

Not one I've personally seen before.

If you mean the movement make, I'm not sure. Can have a look later with the old magnifier.
