Hi everyone, newbie here!

I've joined as I'm after a little advice if possible.

Having lost my wonderful Dad last year, I have his Omega Geneve automatic watch. It's so very special to me.

It had been in its box a fair while, but started working fine. It had been serviced a few years previously.

I've been wearing it and all was well. Now, it stops and starts. It's been getting worse gradually. It'll be fine, then just stop, usually overnight. I'll adjust the time, move the watch a few times and it starts again. Then stops.

Anyone have any idea what the problem might be? I'm hoping it's not terminal, that would be so sad.

Thanks for any advice you may be able to give me.

Hi SeZ  and welcome to the forum.

In high probability just needs a clean, worst case senario it might need repair.

Entrust it in experienced hands.
