Hi,

My name is James.  I’ve swapped out the radiator on a Jeep, the hard drive from a laptop, the screen from an iPhone, and now moving on to watches.

I got into fixing watches by accident: a family heirloom Adriatica World Champion lost it’s acrylic crown, and it’s hands right after.  High in the sentimental value, so trying to refurb it as close to original.

Welcome James, we're all about pictures here, front back and inside. Do you mean the acrylic crystal, if the dial cover has gone and hands have been lost that could be a real pain finding some more. Hands are specific to the movement inside the watch, first task is to identify the movement.

Wow, thanks for all the help already!
I tried to post some pics in a thread I tried to start in the New people section, but I don’t see it so maybe it didn’t go through.
I started a new thread in the watch parts section. It’s a Unitas 3600 movement - h/m hands appear to be 150/90, but the second hand size seem to be mysterious.
