Good evening,

I acquired an Ovivo manual wind watch with a pristine dial which doesn't run. Upon opening the watch, I saw the movement is stamped Standard 412. Emmy Watch* has an entry with no information for a Standard 412A, other than saying the base was a Peseux 7000** (which looked nothing like mine.)

A disassembly and cleaning revealed the problem: the roller jewel is completely missing. I suspect the last person who was inside had something to do with it, since there was also a wrong screw in the keyless works bridge.

I have tried without success to find out anything about the movement; naturally, I would love to find a donor balance complet, or a donor watch generally, to fix this one. Any leads which could be provided would be helpful.

Thanks very much!

~~Tom

Ranfft datebase is gone. Try the link I posted.

That's too bad. It doesn't seem as robust, but I'll admit to not using since you told me about it. Thank you very much!
