OK, the only reason I wanted to start this thread is because I wanted to show an add I found on the web! But, if you have something you would like to share, please do!

Here is an add for a short-lived American watch company called Lancaster Watch Co (1877-1886).

I think it plays well today! Looks like it could also be a Vintage Harley Davidson motorcycle add as well!

I wonder why this product is no longer on the market?

I love the fine print! "Cleans anything that requires pin-point cleaning!" Really? Pin-point, from a can that SWOOSHES a 5cm pattern at a distance of 10cm!

Man! They could say anything back then and get away with it!

BTW, I just bought this cream that burns all of my belly fat away as I sit on the couch and watch TV!

Lol - yes exactly.

They should have said "Swoosh, I'ts clean instantly - then you can go and look for it"

I think these guys are still going - but this is from an October 1960 American Horologist and Jeweller magazine...

Ditto!

I think the website (watchmandan.com) is blocking direct linking which is not unusual.

Damn - that's annoying - such good adverts as well.

Perhaps you can just link to the actual page they were on Will - they will most likely accept that :)
