Hello! Thanks to everyone who contributes here - I've been following and learned a lot. With a background in science and electronics, I've recently been drawn into watches and have serviced a few mechanical movements for myself. At first it was just to make the watches work, but the more I learn about the centuries of development the more I revel in the tinkering.

So far I've always found answers to my questions without having to ask, but I look foward to contributing a morsel someday.

PQR. Welcome.

Don't wait until you have a problem. Reply to posts. If you have serviced some watches then you have expertise that gives the answers to other members problems. Goodness knows, I've been helped by so many.
