Hello everybody!

I like a challenge in my hobbies and watch making has certainly filled that requirement.  The first watch I worked on was a Timex manual wind from the 70's and I think it took me 3 days to get it back together after cleaning it but it worked!  I purchased a few pocket watch movements, a lot easier to work on I have to say!  Please don't beat up on me but I love the Timex watches and it's what I'm mostly interested in.  I'm also on a budget so I have a lot of 3d printed and home made watch tools, but I do own an antique stacking set that I have used a few times already and glad I purchased it.  Can't wait to follow allow with others on this site and have some fun while learning as well.

Welcome, nothing wrong with cutting your teeth on Timex's as they are certainly easily obtainable and inexpensive, Timex's are just small dollar watches like Ingraham, Westclox or New Havens.....
