Robur-ish press on ali

Came across this Robur-ish press on ali,  it's descibed as high quality rotating open watch cover but looks to me more like a watch case back and crystal press similar to the Robur screw down press or am i wrong and the description is correct.

This could be a good buy if it is a screwdown crystal/back press, but what are tools that are with press in the photo.

It looks to me that’s a bench mount snap on caseback remover, not at all like a robur press apart from general shape.

Thanks Tom, that makes sense how you describe it.

I wonder if that upper tool bit is just push fit into the centre shaft so could be removed to take a robur die or an m6 die adapter and double up as crystal press.

I'd love to see what size hole is under the white plastic adapter on the bottom base plate.

Just wishful thinking of a poormans robur style press.

Looking at the listing there is a second upper tool and lower piece too and they look push fit. No info on the spigot size but I think they are likely smaller than 6mm.

Just looking at the picture I thought that looks cheap and nasty. Then I clicked on the link and I was right. 

I had the proper Robur press and they are OK but not that good. I had many glass fitting tools that were far better.

Thanks Tom, i ordered the same press last week, it came today, seven days delivery from China to the UK on ali using choice.

The fit and finish is perfect, no maunfacturing defects or cosmetic damage i can see, they must have quality control in place, it came well packed in a polystyrene box, i tested it with the dies that came with it and the cousins aluminium dies (6mm thread) it closes perfectly square, the spindle operates smoothly up and down, for the price it's an excellent buy.

If i'd got this first i don't think i'd have got the Bergeon 5500 lever press, i won't need another press between the two i think i'm covered.

If your wanting a decent press at reasonble price the E25 (Bergeon 5601 clone gets a MASSIVE THUMBS UP.
