Removing the stem from a Timex M55 movement

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I have two Timex M55 watches. The white one with the beige dial is 57119 05579 (made in England) and the yellow one with the dark blue dial is 57219 05579 (made in Taiwan). The white one is running, but the crown broke off. The yellow one is not running and the battery contact snapped off. I was trying to find a way to remove the stem from the yellow one and put it into the white watch. I couldn't find any information/servicing manuals for this movement on sites like Heritage 1854 and from the few forum posts I saw it seems like these movements weren't designed to be serviced/disassembled. So any help/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Martin
