Hello watchfolk. Something i have wondered about for a while but never looked into it and i bet its really obvious but I'm going to ask anyway.  The two trace lines on a timegrapher provided they are seperated enough, how do we know which line relates to which stone ? I've always assumed that the top line is produced by the entry stone.

Actually a good question, I  haven't thought about it before.

It will help with where to look if a line is looking rough , having a little beat error say .5ms to seperate the trace lines makes sense as well.

Now I'm wondering if it could be either, depending which stone is struck first as the timegrapher starts recording . That would be really unhelpful ☹️
