LeCoultre Memovox dial and escape wheel.

I have a Memovox k815 with a dial that is only in fair condition.  I would like to upgrade the dial but can't find one for the 815.  Does anyone know if any other dials would fit like the 814?  Also I managed to break the pivot off the escape wheel.  The only replacement I can find is $500.  Again is there another movement with the same escape wheel?  If there is someone with the skill to repair the pivot please DM me.

I believe that JLC are all in house high end movements, hence spare parts extortionate prices. Sorry I can’t help with the pivot repair.

Quite a few parts are discontinued or are restricted items.  Unfortunately you'll probably have to pay a ridiculous price or make one.

According to Borel the 814 and 815 use the same escape wheel. It's kind of an oddball being so long.

 Could a new staff be fitted to the escape wheel ?

It's a pinion, so no chance of finding one separate from the wheel. Definitely less work to repivot than make a new pinion! (I generally make the whole staff for a balance of pallet fork rather than repivot though.)

You are too far away.  If can't find somebody to do the job closer and for reasonable price, then post the wheel and the bridge to me and I will do it.
