Smiths clock chiming proble,

I wonder if anyone can help me.

i have a Smiths mantle clock that runs and keeps time very well.

it wasn’t chiming and when I looked inside one of the hammers was slightly raised.

I got it to go back into place and it chimed for a few hours and then stopped chiming.

When I checked one of the hammers was slightly raised again.

this keeps happening all the time.

how do I get it to keep chiming consistently?

Clocks have to be serviced at about 10-15 years interval. May be it is time?
