Hi All, I own an Omega watch above, Im really having problems trying to track down a pusher button for it, it just came off one day. I think I found the right forum to ask about this !

If anyone can help with the part number, id be so grateful, and any info on how to fit it.

Are you sure it's genuine, looks off to me.  If it is genuine, we need the caliber.

100% genuine, bought it from Goldsmiths with box, guarantee and serial number, just not very clean atm. How do i find the caliber Richard, sorry to ask such a basic question ?

Usually for Omega parts unless you have a dealer that can look to serial number for you which they can if they of Swatch group access. Otherwise we would need the casing number found on the inside of the back.

John complicated isnt it ! Ive got the model number, calibre, surely I shouldnt need a casing number or for the watch to be opened to find a part number ?

You do need the case number.

OK so basically take it back to Goldsmiths to repair, which tbh thats what a mate told me to do...Im not going to be able to open it up to find the case number.

If you can't remove the back then taking it back is your only option.  To replace the pusher, requires the back and the movement to be removed.

So 42mm instead or 44mm case but either way you're going to have to take it somewhere to get it repaired.

I guess the 42 & 44mm pusher buttons are different sizes?

Looks like from the picture it's a screw in part. Conceivably the watch doesn't even have to come apart Just unscrew the old and screw in the new and you're good to go.

I thought this at first but expect the C-Clip on the pusher would be too big to go through the hole in the case?

Edit

You may get away though without having to remove the complete movement but expect it would be tight to fit the C-Clip.

If you look at the image of the pushbutton you found on eBay I don't see a C clip. It looks to me like it's an entire assembly that screws in. This of course is where it be nice to have access to Swatch group where you'd actually get a breakdown if the part actually does break down.

The reality of the fantasy of I can replace my button with no skills or tools rapidly crashes and burns when you probably can't. I do see there's a gasket as a good sign because a lot of times when they screw in they use Loctite and then realistically would have to take the movement out of the case plus if you are doing a really proper job you would also do a dry Water pressure test to make sure the watch is still water resistant if it hasn't been serviced since 2015 probably all the gaskets are shot anyway. Which is why taking it to a Swatch group service center would be the best they have a infinite supply of parts and this is what they do all day long.
