Hi all,

I'm here to pursue information that will help me keep my Junghans Mega Solar radio-controlled watch functional now it has expired its accumulator. Junghans are no longer providing accumulator service; they only point to other people, who may or may not be able to do it. No instructions, & no part numbers; really nothing at all. I know they would love that I spend a lot on a new version of my watch, but even if I were to do that, I wouldn't as long as a situation exists where the manufacturer doesn't support their vintage, legacy timepieces or watches of historical significance, like the radio controlled wrist watches.

Having looked around the net a lot, I have concluded this is really a matter that is only likely to be resolved by reference to knowledgeable people on forums like this one. Only through those folk can any comprehensive instruction be compiled that is suitable for the DIY repairer, especially on a watch that does not have a removable back!

So, if you're a Mega Solar owner of a working or non-working Mega Solar radio controlled watch, especially from the 90s, I'd be pleased to hear from you.
