Hello everyone,  I just discovered this website.  I hope someone can help me identify a clock that i recently acquired and what is the correct pendulum I need for this movement. The only markings I can find on the movement is the word FOREIGN. Thanks for any help.

Your clock is called a granddaughter and I would say it is German. It is a westminster chime with strike, the duration should be around 8 days. As for the pendulum what Kalanag has suggested is a good way of finding what you need.

It‘s all about length. The weight doesn’t matter.

Build a makeshift pendulum and find the right length by testing. Then find a nice one with the correct size.

Thank you. I'll give that a try.

Thanks. Would you have any idea of it's age?
