Hello All,

I am looking for the following screws in gold colour,

Dimensions in millimetres
Head diameter
0.83 - 0.84
Thread Size
0.47 - 0.48
Length
1.57 - 1.58

I’m thinking of these ones Diagram 101 and 127

cousinsuk.com/product/bridge-screws-wristwatch-graded#

cousinsuk.com/product/balance-screws-wristwatch-graded

But I can’t find their thread and length other than reference to ‘diagram’

I would appreciate if someone advise/point me finding/buying them.

Thanks

Movement

ETA 201.001

Calibre

9.9mm

SCREW, CELL CLAMP #

X/12142 (54400/201.001)

I found these two suppliers so far,

http://www.julesborel.com/checkout-2-05-0/cart.ssp?sc=3#cart

https://hovigs.com/products/battery-clamp-screw-x-12142

The estimate total cost for 5pcs is ~ €70 including shipping import tax EU

I would rather buy within Europe to cut shipping/tax expenses. Cousinsuk indicates it’s discontinued.

The part you've shown is a Ronda 726 screw. If you've searched 54400 then that's just the generic part no. for battery clamp screws.

The 51.600.01 is used across multiple ETA movements. (example 210.001)

I have checked part numbers in ‘Swiss part description’. Am I right assuming they are interchangeable to the subject one - same dimensions and colour?

If that’s so, than I found better price for ~£2.

Thank you Andy for the wise observation. I learn now that the movement/calibre ought match part number.

As mentioned earlier, sometimes the calibre can be different as a lot of parts are
used across them but the key part is the manufacturer which in your case is ETA.

Thank you Tom for the confirmation. I will go for 3 pack. Thank you Andy for the wise observation. I learn now that the movement/calibre ought match part number.

Hello Samy i hope everything is well on your end. I too am looking for the same exact screw that I saw you posted about me too for a chopard watch. Could you please let me know if you were succesful in finding one where you ordered it from and how fast the delivery was. Any advice or help in this matter is welcome. Thank you so much for your help

Hello @Tahagg

The identical screw is: SKU X/12142, 0 54400 / 201.001

I bought similar ones from cousins.uk: ETA21000154400, ETA 210.001 54400 as kindly suggested by @AndyGSi, but notice they are silver colour not yellow/golden, other than that I think they should fit, but I didn’t try. The delivery in EU is within 10 days.

I bought the identical screws - yellow/golden from US, hovigs.com *****@*****.tld. They’re are very nice to deal with.
