I have a nice vintage Caravelle auto N1 that needs a crystal.  It is from 1970 or 1971.  I know this is a less than $50 watch but mine seems to be unique.  Very similar to this:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/224697827331?chn=ps&mkevt=1&mkcid=28&srsltid=AfmBOoqhKmRH21R7mqblZMZ9PgUHExMtqzpzcpAhERpLe3PjMZs-K6oJH-c

Mine is reversed!  It is wider instead of longer/taller.  Every other example I have seen has been like the ebay example.

I enjoy wearing it and it has a great vintage look.

Can anyone help me source the proper replacement crystal?  Part number?

I assume you that the number N1 from the back of the case? Then it would be 1971 as Bulova/Caravelle would date watches and movements with a letter and a number. So the letter N would be 1970.

Then if you would take the back off on the inside back is the casing number that's used to find a crystal.

Inside the caseback is stamped "MKF" and then the numbers "979".

looks like a tension-ring crystal to me, they are available from all material houses like Jules Borel, Esslinger, CasKer or Wm S McCaw company, probably on the bay too..pop out and measure with millimeter calipers...they might can make sense of the case number too...
