Hi, all

I was about to finish Omega 601 case 135.04 after spending some time polishing the crystal and then breaking it while refitting it  I've been checking on Cousins for a replacement and I will go with a 36.1mm outer. This is where I'm either dumb or just can't see the information in the Sternkreuz G22 document that Cousins points you to for relevant info. I know I want an armored crystal with the reference number ATC316 but there are a couple of options for either a standard or wide ring and this is what I wanted to check in the caterlogue against the broken one. From what I can see from the G22 document is a page showing the packaging for ATC crystals but no other information. Am I just being dumb or should I have gone to sepcsavers?

So is it a 135.041 or 135.042 case?

I presume the 36.1mm is a typo and should be 31.6mm as the ATC316?

Is it a gold or silver case?

Oh dear I should have gone to specsavers  The case is 135.041 silver and the old crystal measured 31.6mm outer. I saw on eBay somebody selling a crystal for this case and they also had it down as being 31.6mm so that confirmed my own measurement. I won't be buying that one though as it was a lot more expensive than a cousin's offering, if not genuine.

So Cousins do the PX5005G which is a Gold Ring which also confirms the size is correct.

I can't see anything showing a Standard or Wide Fitting?

Where did you get this info?

ATC = 1.25mm & ATCB = 2.25mm

I was  looking in the standard Acrylic section https://www.cousinsuk.com/category/acrylic-tension-ring-armoured then using the info you sent I found this one which is silver so it should be fine, I will just check the height on the broken one first  Thanks for helping out on this one it's appreciated

If you could post the width of the tension ring this may be of benefit to someone in the future.

The outer diameter is 30.5mm, the inner 29.0mm, and the thickness 0.9mm

So what's the thickness from the outside of the crystal to the inside of the ring, would this be 2.6mm, 31.6mm Crystal and 29.0mm Internal.

If that's the case then the ACTB may not be suitable as a replacement at 2.25mm.

I've left the above but just realised that the 2.6mm is divided by 2 so the ACT would probably work at 1.25mm.
