unfortunately haven’t got the 20 they want for battery change any help and advice on a diy change

If this is your watch then it should be a straight forward battery replacement.

 

Just remove those four screws on the back and the battery will be right there. Check the battery number and replace with the same or equivalent.

yer ty for reply, that’s my watch, took back cover off, there is a clasp/cover covering g battery can’t seem to work out how to move it or pop it open.

Just pull back and up the clasp will be free  take out battery and replace with new do not touch new battery with your fingers, press clasp down and re-hook under that plastic so it clips in place.

I don't work on quartz, why don't you touch the battery with your fingers?

Same reason as any watch part Rich, sweat salt on your fingers. Finger cots

And potential short circuit, salts conduct electricity

Hi all got the CR2025 but underneath that there is a 377 any idea how to get to that??

Hi. Two batteries one for the analogue and one for the digital.  Too much use of the back light drains the CR 2025 quicker.

Managed to get batteries, put them both in and working again
