Hi,

have a couple of seiko 8300 series watch movements needing diafix springs—besides salvage movements anyone have any sources they can point me to or spares they are willing to sell? Have checked cousins and they can’t  source them. eBay has a few NOS but at ridiculous prices.

thanks

May also be used on a lot of other calibers from the 1960/1970s like 6100, 5100 series not sure

I'd just get some trashed 6119s for donors, they're pretty cheap. Removing and installing the springs unharmed is another topic.

Yeah, I’ve got one 6119 salvage with a spring bit I need two right now. Also prefer not to muck up what is left of the salvage movement.

Hi have you tried.  Speedtimerkollection  they are a European  second user site and also. Welwynwatchparts.co.uk   Again a second user site.

No but will give them a shout tomorrow—thx.

From the eBay listings for 015.113, note that it's not all 6119s

Yes thanks—I’ve seen those listings on eBay. One vendor wants $69 use the wants $10 per spring plus $10 shipping. Was hoping to find someone who has a stash that they’d be willing to part with a couple for more reasonable prices.

I think you're only option is to look for donor movements from the list.
