Case pins - what tools

Hi all,

Ive recently come into a problem with a stiff bracelet pin in a case and due to the curve on the case and lugs I can’t hold it still. What tools do you use when the case has pins rather than spring bars? 
 

I have a screw type tool but the curve is too much for a flat tool.

I have these it’s more around holding the case. I struggle to hole the case as I hammer the pins out. What do you use?

Due to the curves in the sides of the case and the first few links I can’t hold it flat. Do you put it in a vice?

Yes, I just use this little vice that I've lined with rubber.
