Screws for bracelet buckle

Sometimes I have to make some missing screws that my watchmaker friends can't source.

Here are photos of making 3 missing screws for Omega buckle. The thread size is odd - 1.4X0.2

I just recently picked up an adjustable hollow end mill from Genesee so that I can batch out a bunch of screws. Haven't used it yet but I think it'll be a big time saver.

 

I should add, I got the compact on that ranges in size from 0"-1/8". I picked it up on ebay for $20. New from the company they are over $600.

The video actually shows the thread making. Sorry, it is not at focus, but I recorded it with my phone and when saw it on the computer display, it was to late. But it shows  in real time how the thread is cut.
