As of today's date (15 November 2024) I'm very new to this hobby. In fact all I've done so far is take apart a Seiko 7S26 movement. But that went well, I didn't lose anything.

I'm 57, male and in the UK. I was looking for a new hobby to exercise both my brain but also my practical skills and I hope I've found my tribe here. I've already learned so much from reading old posts and I'm sure I'll learn a lot more as I develop in watch repairs and servicing.

Hello Johnwin, welcome to the forum.

Keep us posted as you put your watch together, ask  questions, and pix helps, folks here work with you to get the right tich tok.

For your own record and helping others, taking pics as you disassemble is useful.
