It’s my first time servicing an automatic assembly. This is a vintage PUW 1461 movement. There are a few wheels that I haven’t come across before and so I was wondering if you might help me with suggestions for what type of lubrication to use on the specific points in the pictures below:

Points 1 and 2 - are these reverser wheels? Should I dip them in Lubeta? If not, do they require any lubrication?

Point 4 - I suspect this should be 9501?

point 3 - the teeth / leaves of the wheel, does it need any lubrication? I assumed not.

point 4 - the teeth / leaves of the wheel, does it need any lubrication? I assumed not.

You certainly do not want to use Lubeta.  You do not oil any of these teeth.

Thanks so much for confirming.

Just lubricate the posts and arbors with HP1300, definitely not the teeth or pinion leaves

It's pretty much like a Felsa 690 Bidynator in how the wheel teeth drives wheel teeth in the auto work and the pinion leaves of the mounted reverser drives those teeth in either direction. This was one of the first successful bi-directional winding of the rotor in a watch

Low torque high speed of the rotor which ends up at high torque and low speed of the pawl winding wheel to put power into the mainspring
