Hi,

If you've assembled and oiled a movement, and then have to adjust and reassemble, how do you "reclean" before re-oiling? Do you? Are there situations where you would do a full-on rerun through a cleaning machine,  or do you peg out and IPA jewels and just re-oil? Or do you just assume lubricant will stay roughly in the right place and just reassemble?

Do you mean taking the balance out to adjust beat error and then putting it back? No additional cleaning and re-oiling is needed for that.

Adustments concerning end- and side shake are better done before final assembly and oiling.

I'd say maybe more extreme disassembly. I've had to go back and reassembled the train (I'm still very new to this), sometimes due to errors in assembly, sometimes just working back to debug the train wheel by wheel.
