My Grandfather left me a watch he won in a poker game in Tonapah Nevada around the 1950s or 60s.  I have been trying to find out whether or not the watch is worth repairing or not.  I intend to keep it.  i have taken it to a couple of local people, but they are not familiar with this watch and want to charge me $100 just to open it.  Its in fair condition.  According to the dial it is a Hamilton Watch, However the dial is split AM on the right and PM on the left.  There are no other dials.  I have seen pictures of Hamilton Watches with a 24 hour dial, so I assume the movement is the same.  However could not find a picture with 12 hours on Am and 12 Hours PM.  It looks like it may be a screw off case, but I can't tell.  thanks for any help you can provide
