Hello watchmakers!

So I heard from a Seiko insider that the 6R55 uses a mems escape wheel and pallet fork, that got me doing research and I stumbled upon a watchmaker who posted a pic of the 6R35 saying how wonderful mems is and he was happy to see it in this movement. That shocked me as I had no clue it was also in the 6R35! But the pictures are down and I couldn't save them in time.

Do any of you guys have confirmation or pictures for the 6R55? or even the 6R35.
I have no clue why seiko gives so little info out about its movements.

Thanks in advanced!

also I  check the TECH SHEET for the 6R55 and the picture of the pallet fork is definitely mems! So that is a good sign but would love real life photos

I don't know how from the Tech Sheet you could tell?

From a goole search.

If only I saved that watchmakers photos!!!! I just thought they would be up forever! But you can still read the 2nd comment on his original thread saying how good mems is.  https://www.thewatchsite.com/threads/6r35-caliber-tear-down-findings-update.349895/

You mean from a drawing that looks nothing like the actual pallet fork?

that is exactly how it looked from the watchmakers photos that are lost. I saw it with my own eyes

And you can see here on the 6R15 before the MEMS was used on the 6R35 and 6R55 Seiko drew it normally:

This is from the 6R15 Tech sheet:

Yes I'd seen that video but wouldn't have expected an original looking at the state of the shellac when the idea is to make them light weight.

Edit

Just found this photo of an original fork and the shellac does just look as bad but there's
no cut outs on the central shaft and it appears shorter than the one in the video?

It's typical as well that he appears to jump over inserting it to get a better view.

Nah, that's too blurred to draw any meaningful conclusions.  Here's something in focus. Doesn't show the whole pallet fork but you can clearly see skeletonization on the shaft and one of the arms.
