I acquired this watch few months ago...

Started to clean the outer parts, the hands, the bezel... And change the glass.

The crown and the stem on a spring:

Then I wore it for a while and decided to give it a service this Christmas holidays.

Graphite grease everywhere...

As I have not graphite grease yet, I just used normal barrel grease. What should be the impact ?

Still working on a little software to calculate the different deltas. I commented the data in case you find an interest. Based on informations found here https://calibercorner.com/positions/ and in a video from the "Watch Repair Tutorials"'s youtube channel (did'nt found the right video yet 😕 )

I think I can get best results, but I don't know what I can expect with this movement . And you ?

Figures are OK for DU & DD if you've got the correct lift angle and depending what you've done with the spring

I would have expected better in the other positions though.

Thanks for your feedback. I know I have oiled a bit too much a balance pivot's jewel, maybe it'll help if I start again this one.

I forgot to say that this movement is well documented, it was a pleasure to work on it, especially following the official reassembly procedure and the oiling chart.

It is my tool watch since months now !

(Lift angle =  54.5°, VPH = 21600 )

For the main spring I opened the barrel, cleaned all, and used oil for hand winding spring. I winded it with a modified Chinese winder set (O enlarged some holes to use more axes on winder barrels). But I'm not sure I understand your point, I'm sorry.

If you're still using the old spring then 230+ are good readings for DU & DD.

I'd have expected 240 to 250 if you were using a new one.

Not sure what you mean by this as it should be a grease in the barrel like Moebius 8217
