Hello!

I am new to watches and their repair. I got a Timex weekender chronograph with a dead battery. When I removed the case back, I dropped the case and the retainer ring fell out with both of the tiny pins that span the gap between the buttons on the case and the buttons on the movement. I found 1, but not the other and timex (as I'm sure you know) doesn't sell parts. No jewelers or repair shops near me are helpful either. Does anyone know where I can get this tiny part? I know it's only a $40 watch, but it seems a shame to lose this functionality for the sake of a $0.01 part.

Welcome to the forum.

Depending on the size you could use a tube with a solid bar inside for the piece that protrudes.

I like the problem solving. I am not sure that I am capable of doing these with the required level of precision though.  I was hoping someone found a 3rd party part seller or something
