Hey, I came across this Seamaster on eBay as I was looking for a new project and I can't quite tell if it is fake. The dial appear to be authentic, but I still can't tell whether or not the case back is supposed to be flat (I.e. without the seahorse logo) or if the seconds hand is supposed to be black?

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Jack

Ask the seller for a photo of the movement in the case.

in addition to a picture of the movement when the back is off we need a picture of the inside of the back. Omega watches will have things on the back that the counterfeits will typically not because in a counterfeit watch no one sees the back or the movement typically. So this is why it's always nice to see a picture of what you're buying.
