Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows what timex model of movement these are, I have 12 brand new in their cases within the brass shipment case. My grandad worked at timex in the 60s, 70s and 80s. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Looks to be M104. The difference from M24 is the click spring. On the older 24, it would be a little folded triangular steel thing but on these is a very thin strip of copper wedged into a rectangular hole on the plate. There are hardly any other differences. https://heritage1854.com/m104

I would add that depending on how tall the seconds hand pinion is, this could also be 105 or 106 to accommodate the extra height of a calendar complication. But I don't know how those were packaged, especially since this does not include the dial rest plate. Those would have different dial plates and you don't seem to have any at all.

these were for factory and or service center use -   I have managed to come across a few myself.
