AS 1302 Mainspring

Hello Forum peeps

I have been working on a AS 1302 movement from a Heuer Tripledate circa 1950. I have polished the pivots and validated endshake, but still have low amplitude. If I run the watch without pallet fork, it seems to my eyes to be running properly.  When I first received this watch the mainspring was broken, so I went off to look for a new one and found that they are not easily found.

According to my research I need: 

Dimensions                              GR Reference 

1.50 x 0.095 x 280 x 9.0 mm GR4111X       Auto

I was unable to find this from cousinsUK or anywhere else. So I went to next best thing Ebay and found an original NOS Mainspring for this watch. I wonder if my issue is related to this NOS Mainspring. 

So I would like to purchase something similar and have found that these are somewhat compatible.

GR3629X 1.40 x .09 x 300 x 8.5 Automatic

GR3943X 1.45 x .095 x 320 x 9.5 Automatic

Do you think one of these could do? None in the 1.50 height would work from what I saw. Is the slightly different height bad?

Height and strength are the most important dimensions.  I'll see what I do find.

It depends where in the world you are and how much you're willing to pay for a new spring but this is probably the next best thing.

Ok I had not heard of dynagem and see they also stock the Gr4111x which would be exactly the size needed. 

Would you happen to know a place where we can find odd date pushers like this one? I am missing the inside pusher, I will try to extract from a newer version and see if I can piece it back together.  Or make one with a Lathe, which is on my list of things to buy but....well you know.

Is this for the same Heuer and what are the case details.

Just done a little more digging on Dynagem and would be cautious before ordering anything.

Dynagem Limited was dissolved in 2015

Dynagem Ltd was dissolved in 2021

Yes it is from same watch.  I knew it was missing as pusher, just didn't have the knowledge that it would be so difficult to track down.

Would anyone know what the thread pitch is? I would probably need a pitch gauge if they exist. I may be able to fit a date corrector that would fit, once I get a thread one it.

I also order a 1.45 x .095 x 320 x 9.5 as opposed to 1.50 x .095 x 280 x 9. This may help my issue with amplitude, or prove its the wheel train.

1.45 height won't make any difference to the amplitude which is generally set by the 0.095 strength.

Do you have the case numbers as it's easier to try and find the relevant parts with these although due to the age it could be a problem.

The case has no markings, at all. I guess a lathe would easily be able to create this date corector. The pusher is what I am missing, the screw in part I have. So I don't have a lathe, and may decide to get one. Overkill for sure, but i love tools.

There should be a number inside the case back at least.

Is yours the same as the one you're posting photos of?

I had not noticed, but the CASE has between the lugs 917071. The case back does not have any numbers, on either side.

What do you mean, The pics I took from the net are to show the correctors. I have not found any anywhere so will probably need to make one or piece one together.
