Moebius 9504 seems to “dry out” too quickly??

Hi! I have just started lubricating my own watches and had a question about Moebius 9504, a grease for high friction sliding parts, like the keyless works. 
 

I was preparing some keyless works and set them aside (see pic) and the pieces look like they have dried out, and no longer lubricated. As a grease, I expected it to stay, well, greasy, like 8200, but maybe I got a bad batch?   Or is this what it’s supposed to look like?

How exactly are you applying the lubrication? Then how much are you applying?

I have the opposite problem. My 9504 tends to become watery.

What is the ambient temperature of your room. Mine here is about 32°C
