Hi, my name is Tony, and I am new at making and building watches for myself.  I am using a Seagul ST3600 movement and two different cases for this movement, and I am having an issue with both builds in that the ST3600 is sitting too low inside the movement of the winding stem and the hole for the movement and I an not sure how to fix this.

Is dial plate a right one?

Sometimes you can level  stem and case hole by adding paper washers to where the dial sits.

This would be what I'd class as a botch and dependant on how long the hand pinions are as to how much you can raise the dial/lower the movement.

The correct way is to fit a dial spacer between it and the case to lower the complete dial and movement.

  I say your right Andy.

Speaking of the correct way, one can do even better. Why not buy the correct parts to have a watch worthy of your wrist.

Modding is good to keep busy with،  when one has nothing worth  doing، other than watching boxing on TV  to see how folks can beat each other and the audience who actually pay money to watch the bearing live as it happens.
