Hello community!
I am 19 and have become a watch enthusiast after watching the Youtube channel Wristwatch Revival, and some more of MyRetroWatches, at first they just made me more curious about watches, the servicing, the precision and looks.
Now I'm getting towards learning about repairing them myself, finding a vintage watches caliber, or whatever that is cool and interesting, I've bought some tools to service and build (assemble mostly) my own watches, I started with just a simple NH35 watch that I assembled from parts I got off of AliExpress, yet the watch runs, and is pleasing to my eye. I also made a jump and decided to fully disassemble and clean the NH35 movement to just see if I could piece it together and not break it. I read on Reddit and some other forums that Moebius 8000 is quite perfect for just trying out the oiling process, I agree as it's decently cheap and the 10ml bottle from CousinsUK only cost like 23 pound, which I was fine with.
I reassembled the movement and its ticking away again! I didn't do much with the mainspring barrel as my grease hasn't arrived yet, but it's working and that's all I care about, anyway, over with my long introduction, I am happy to be on this forum with otherwise like-minded people, so hopefully if I ever need some help, I could reach out here, and if I see someone in need of help, I could use my limited knowledge and try and help.
Thanks for reading!

Welcome! You will find this place to be far, far more knowledgeable than Reddit. Lots of experienced pros spend time sharing their knowledge here in much greater detail and are very welcoming to novices.
