Found a toroid-like washer thingy in the parking lot of Harbor Freight Tools. It was heavy and kinda cool. Put it in my pocket.

Later, I ptinted a 3D insert and installed a needle.

Nice balance tac for the right price.

My son laughs at me. I just love repurposing things and I cannot throw anything away!

I know what you mean, throw something in the bin and you desperately need it on bin collection day, useually right after the bin truck has just turned out of the street!
