Hi people of the forum! I've been servicing a Sekonda Slava 2427 watch, and I've gathered that one of the holes for the barrels on the barrel bridge has been worn out so much that, whenever you try and wind the watch, the ratchet wheel lifts up slightly and causes the keyless works to skip and thus unwind the watch every time you try and wind it more. I hope someone could help either with ways to maybe fix the issue without getting a new barrel bridge, but im okay with buying a new barrel bridge if I cant somehow fix the issue, and also maybe please help with some places to get parts for watches within the UK?
Any help is very much appreciated, thanks for viewing!

Do you have a staking set?  If so the hole can be closed.

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I do not own one, but how would I go about using one to close the hole? could you please help with that? also do you know if the 2414 barrel bridge will fit the 2427 movement? I have looked at photos and they look very similar. Thanks!

Watch Chronoglide Watchmakers Hammer time videos on youtube. As @RichardHarris123 said you need a staking set though, if it is oval then it is a bit more trickier, hopefully can be saved. Its almost an everyday business with old movements, i recently posted two videos with the before and after state:

Thank you for the reply! I did unfortunately forget to put my image alongside my original post, and the hole is oval shaped (hole on the right), so I guess ill need to just buy a new bridge.

Chronoglide videos also should cover the oval case, Kalle corrects the hole shape with a file before closing it. Perfect opportunity practicing this, there is nothing to lose. If the hole gets too big you wont be able to close it enough though, then u bush it as @Nucejoe said or u get a new bridge.

Thanks! I dont have a staking set and a staking set would cost more than to buy a bridge, I looked at the 2414 movement and the bridge looks to be the same, have you any idea if the bridges are the same size?

Thanks for the reply! I've just noticed that the 2427 actually has a jewel right next to the barrel on the left, thats for the automatic works, so 2414 bridge wont fit, but the listing you sent has the right bridge, so thank you very much! I've been looking for hours lol!

Sorry I forgot the 2427 was the auto but you need to make sure the ones in the photo are what you're getting as they're selling multiple lots.
